Now I am not a tech guy vbut can write in python (not impressive) and a lil i c++ to make games as a hobby.. i used the same LG optiplex for a few years till battery died on me and i hot charged it by making it a plug in to play phone lol so tldr i wasnt looking at phones.. the other day i saw an lg pheonix and the rebel 4 l at the dollar general for like 40 dollars and was getting frustrated on not having anything to listen to music or play on the internet with.. a few houds later im at walmart looking at phones and the best deal i found was an j2 .. 60 dollars i think 8.1 orero dud said it was a 2020 phone the other 2020 ones was over 100. now dodnt thinj much of it liked the fetures like the notifaction bar, split sceeen, etc. was pretty fast but i told my friend i got the new j2.. he said he had that phone years ago... called him a liard lookedbit up it sais 2020.. thiugbt he was just jelly mad or platyibg idk...but what really happened is SAMASUNG RIPPING AND PLAYIBG EVERYONE OFLFFF.... you cant slap a new model number and call it a new phone.. and from my research lmao.. i count like 20.. maybe more.. i havent even found my model number yet Galaxy J2 SM-6260DL.... so tldr if you want this phone its litterally almost a half decade old.. dont waste your money and do more than 2 minuute google search cuz of liaring greedy coorporations.. tbh i would pay 60 bucks for this phone its nice i like it.. but do t tell me its brand new when my own mom has hasd one...

I would say out of all the Samsung Galaxy's I've had this is by far the worst one. This phone was supposed to be an upgrade but it feels like I took two steps back with this phone...

I bought a new sim card then inserted it on my phone but why cant i choose the network type here on my phone? Then i tried to insert the same sim card to other phone (not the same brand) but it can? Waaeeeee???

Terrible phone. The battery is at 80% capacity. A replacement battery costs $40 from Samsung and delivery takes a month. The Home Button died just out of warranty. I will NEVER buy a Samsung product again!

8 gb ROM model is clearly not enough. However there is a 16 gb model, in this case it covers perfectly the requirements needed by a huge chunk of users. Other users need even more e.g. 32gb, 64, or 128 gb. But for some users 16gb covers their needs perfectly.

My galaxy j2 prime is now a music player because of the very low internal memory. It's hard to update my apps so I had to uninstall other apps to update the others. I'm planning to buy a new cheap smartphone with 32GB internal storage.

This phone automatically downloads software updates and even pop-ups software updates almost everyday!(even though i changed it to manual downloading, which is annoying). I cant block those pop-ups. It cost almost half of my storage.
