pete, 02 Jan 2019is the Samsung j2 pro still getting Oreo update There is no certainty that it will get Android Oreo.
It is known of a possible date released by Samsung Members in India in August 2018 indicating that the update would be rolled out: January 2019.
But that date has passed, and the device continues to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

One thing not so nice is when you power on, screen shines so bright for 30 seconds, draining precious battery life.
My previous J2 yhe screen background was black when i power on.
