AnonD-636704, 18 Oct 2017I have a J320F device which I still have android 5.1.1 ,But... moreAlready answered. There were at least two hardware variants of this device.

One was released in North America with an Exynos CPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It shipped originally with Marshmallow, and upgrades to Nougat for this device are rolling out right now.

The other was released elsewhere in the world with a Spreadtrum CPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. It shipped originally with Lollipop, and has never received any upgrades to either Marshmallow or Nougat. I can't say for certain, but it seems very unlikely at this point that it ever will.

The second one is your version that came with 5.1.1. This one didn't get updated drivers because of Spreadtrum so it can't get any update. This model is for the rest of the world.

Hence the "or". If you had 6.0.1, then you can upgrade.

Marshmallow and Nougat is only for devices with an E3475, namely USA and Canada versions. They also come with 16/2GB

I would like to use the recording feature for a meeting that will run about an hour. This is my first time using it. Will the J3 be ok for an hour?

A really smooth smartphone. Works pretty fast.
The camera is decent, (8mpx) but the memory is only 8GB. If you don't need much apps, this phone is good for you.

Second Samsung product. Will never recommend this company products ---too much trouble using at very high monthly cost. I am tired of removing the battery so I can make a phone call!!!!

the phone is worth the money looking only at features.
quality wise, this is a shit phone. after using for sometime u'll get to know how shit is this. even phones like acer works far better.
to be precise, samsung is the worst phone.
                            even the support is shit.
i am stuck with this phone.
i highly recommend not to buy this piece of shit.
                            please look for other options

I mislaid the phone for a few days, activated another phone, but then recovered my Samsung J3 Emerge, charged and activated it, but the time and date displayed were wrong and continue to be wrong.
How can I change that to show the correct time and date?

My current phone. Had this for since july 2016. Its actually a good phone for daily use only down thing about j3 2016 is the internal memory is too little and no marshmallow update.
