Correct, The device looses Wifi connectivity when in sleep mode, even when you tell the device to stay awake in the settings menu.
Even the *#code# option does not leave Wifi on.
This causes Fritz Fon to disconnect from my landline phoneline and stops playing Spotify (streaming to a BlueTooth device).
I'm not so happy with this device

For me this phone very, very good... Before I was have iPhone 5s and I must say that the
Samsung is faster and battery life is longer... it surprised me. And in the end look on the price, it is really awesome.

a good phone for this price. I am satisfied with it's performance but device storage is too small (8GB).we can't use the whole storage because 3GB goes as system memory. so the customer must depend external storage such as SD card. other features are awesome.

i'm 12 and i really like it
i think its a good phone for kids my sage or in their teens
i have a lot of pictures and 6 games and still have plenty of space left.

the galaxy j2 2016 has literally same specs as j3 2016,
but it has marshmallow,
so would it be possible for someone to port j2 rom onto the j3,
just a thought:)

It is good phone compared to its price
But samsung can improve its memory i think
8 Gb is too small
