I miss having physical navigation buttons, square screen, replaceable battery, and actual sensors. They don't make 'em like they used to.

Tadas, 16 Jun 2022no. only usb microUSB On-The-Go is built on top of USB 'Micro AB', meaning that the phone has an AB connector which can function as either the device or the host. This means you can plug your phone into a computer, or e.g. a keyboard into you phone. This is an important distinction as the phone is powered by the computer, but the keyboard is powered by the phone (and similar inequalities hold in who is controlling the communication), so the phone has 2 way comms and power.
A device with just a USB Micro B connection (probably what you'd think of as USB Micro in most other contexts) would only be able to receive power, not send it (to illustrate this, look at the difference between a USB A connector (the normal wide rectangular ones) and a USB B connector (The fatter, narrower ones with the beveled top).
On-The-Go was effectively the thing just before USB C, which sorts all of this out.

I think this phone's the same as Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S5, J1 and J2. They have the same features: they have access to all calls. They have access to children's playground (video games). They have an "emergency call" button, even in their lockscreen. Parental controls, passwords, fingerprints, face locks, etc. They have everything. So, be secure, be wise, be happy. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16). That's why you'll have to obey and honour your parents (Exodus 20:12 and Ephesians 6:1). Thank you.

Bought in 2016 and still going strong. It does everything that you want it to. If I could upgrade the OS to Android 10+, I'd happily keep it for another 6 years.

Bought it on 2016 and now it's 2022 I'm still using it. So worth it. Never been to any repair shops. No problem with its system. Battery is still good. And it still looks good as new.

i bought it in 2017 so it has some usage marks and i dont use it anymore but i still have it somewhere and will use as backup phone. I would recomend that you buy a newer samsung budget phone but if you just need minimal apps and call/text and browse i think this phone is alright for that even if the memory is low and the phone is really outdated
