While the layout, appearance, camera, operating speed, and much of the software of the Galaxy S3 and S4 seem overall very good - both phones have the same flaws. Charging ports and cables that routinely fail, and particularly the S4 - very thin, fragile, crappy screen. Neither phone survived a two-year contract. I'm being directed to the Galaxy J3 as a replacement which I am not reading much to indicate will be any better.
Very disappointing....

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend the J3 to anyone...other than having a great camera, there isn't a whole lot I like about this phone.
The screen scratched way too easily and some of the apps on my S3 aren't compatible or not available on the J3. The phone gets hot when you use it for too long and it times out after 15 mins (the highest setting) and I have to sign in again. Every time I sign back in and my wifi is on, it automatically opens up a web page.
And to top it all off, the J3 is bigger and heavier than my S3 making it an albatross to carry around!!
Sorry Samsung, just my opinion!!!

I have this phone for 5 months now and I didn't face any major issue about J3 2016. This phone is good for phone photography. Also, it has a powerful flash.

I'm using this phone for almost a month now but I didn't experience some problem with it. It's perfect! I love J3!!!

John, 13 Oct 2016Problem firmware update Anyone have same problem?I have problem like that.. first u must save ur file and hard reset your phone... than the first time if u finished reset the phone, update ur firemare.. good luck
