I got this as my first phone in September 2017 after being passed down from my mom then my sister. It has survived being submerged in water a few times, once I even left it in my pocket when I went swimming in a river for at least five minutes. It has also survived being dropped on asphalt at 25mph with no cracks (with a case of course). I still have it to this date and even though it is slow, I hope it'll continue to function for many years to come.

Bruh ive been using this for 1 n half and many problem i got such as overheating, and the battery bloated 2 times only in 1year n half and i did changed the battery but its bloating again so imma give up. Ye its not a second hand just bought it from the store. Idk if im unlucky or got scam lol. Think twice before buying

This phone is impressively bad. It lags horribly, it lacks most of the functionality of other samsung products (no screencast, no redlight filter, barely any advanced settings). It's PACKED with bloatware (random pre-installed garbage you cannot get rid of at all). The camera is terrible for a modern phone. Like seriously? They couldn't have at least put a 1080p camera in it? You can get those for like $50 now. The phone hardly has enough RAM to run its own Operating system so every single app lags to the point of crashing. The storage is so miniscule about 75% of the storage is used by the Samsung OS.
So much about this phone is bad and the rest of the J series Samsungs are the same. This is by far the worst series of Samsung products. I am beyond disappointed that this product somehow managed to leave the concept phase.

Mine is on 7.1.1 and still works fine after 3 years. Battery life has not changed. Not the best phone, but a great deal for the price I paid.

ive been using mine for the past 4 yrs and its has good today has it was when purchased, the only problem is its still 5.1.1 and unable to upgrade to an higher version. its not slowed down nor has the battery been effected with 4 yrs use.

and for the first time since communication began we have now perfected a new way of communication.Talking was the first means of communication; alexander bell created the telephone and the nerds created the text whereby we never get a reply?? We are progressing and one day we will get to the stage whereby there is no communication albeit we may be nearly there with television or google?

all mobil phones underachieve! why? because you never know what they are capable of! The nerds that design them understand what they have made BUT they never tell you what you can do with what they have made. It is like needing a Phd in electronics to understand the capability of the device called a mobile phone. IF they told you how to operate the DAMN device you might have half a chance of using it properly.They do not even give you a handbook with it in stead they rely on your "mates" telling you how it works. The same applies to computers (which is what a phone is today). AS for predictive text, well! Try guessing what your friend is going to say next and see how far you get! It simply does not work, it is the worst thing the nerds have ever created

Sometimes wifi extenders disconnect the wifi connection for some reasons. This happens to me momentarily too. If not that maybe it's your wifi router or your phone

a car charger please help what can I do restore it. I have important documents in the storage
phone and on watsapp as well.
