I love the Samsung J4. Frankly, everything is functioning very well. I don't understand how you people are having terrible experiences with the Samsung J4. Probably you people don't have the genuine/original made like mine, lol.
Nevertheless, the Samsung J4 is working great for me.

It's a piece of junk right out of the box. I returned it and got a refund within two hours of buying it. It looks and is cheaply made, plasticky to the touch.
On top of that, in order to activate the thing, you have to "agree" to receive advertising. I am NOT going to pay money for companies to send ads to me without my permission.

In South Africa, the phone specs are 32GB 2Gig of Ram & sells at a retail price of R2,799 on average (R2,499 cheapest) which is benchmark for mid spec price phones in this country....
I have used this phone for a few months now and i can happily say its an amazing upgrade from the previous model and the J5 series in comparison. Its running Android Oreo which is an absolute delight to use. The cameras could have used an upgrade in terms of the pixels but there are no complaints from me since I'm no pro photographer and I use the cameras on social occasions, but in saying that, I must say the photo quality is slightly superior compared to the J5 model.
Now for me, gaming is a big deal. Since most apps and games are utilizing bigger space requirements, the 23gigs leftover from the operating system is sufficient storage for all those huge quality games (and you can transfer games on your memory card properly this time). Dead Trigger 2, Anormaly 2, Real Racing 3/Need For Speed. Fifa/PES games run smooth, without any noticeable lag.... but i would advise use the built in Optimize feature
(to clear memory ) and the Game Launcher tool" to get the best performance on high end games and do not multitask between games, as then you will experience lag due to the heavy demand on the RAM. Even though 1,4 Octo core is outdated, the graphics chip Mali-T720 does great support to the chipset in this range.
The battery is amazing. If you are utilizing the phone for playing intensive games, facebook, whatsapp and surfing the net you still get a fairly decent chunk of usage for a full 8 hours from 100%. If you just text chat or occasional net usage you will get at least 1 or 1&half day usage. Remember the brightness on screen is one of the biggest battery life drainers. Mine is quite low as i cant handle very bright screens. My display slider is probably increased by 15mm from 0. I never utilized the outdoor brightness mode.
High quality videos are great to view on the 5.5"screen with good connectivity on both Wifi and Bluetooth, i had no issues here.
I've touched on the most essential uses of the phone in terms of camera, battery and performance. It depends on the individuals preferences to get the most out of this phone.
If you are getting a phone mostly for photography then maybe you will have to spend more.
If you are getting this phone for high end gaming then you will need to to be restricted in keeping your phone RAM as clean as much as possible.
If you are going to utilize the phone for business usage, lots of normal/wifi/video calling, on the road for map navigation, texting and quick internet use then this will satisfy your requirements with excellent battery life.
Remember, there are lots of budget chinese phones hitting the market to dent competition from the bigger brand names. But i also learned the hard way, there is a reason why these phones are cheaper with higher specs, they dont have the same quality when it comes to battery, display quality and performance on whichever segment you look at (mid or higher end) also keep in mind that dont expect a mid spec phone to perform like a higher end one, then you will be up for a big disappointment.
Verdict : Samsung J4 is a good quality package at a good price.

First time i bought smart phone that to with samsung galaxy j4 1 week ago. So it's working fine but except battery backup becasue of it could not reached my require backup that is 1 and half day minimum, it gives only 19 hours on fully battery charged, otherwise everything is fine.
Finally as per as iam concerned if anyone who require more backup(ex:2 days or more) don't go on with it.

I bought samsung j4 one month ago..Now i am writing a short review here.
Pros:
* Display performance is quite good.It has HD Super amoled display that is why i am quite satisfied with the display performance.
* 3000 mah battery for 5.5" display. The battery back up is quite good. I do charge only 1 time at the night and it supports me whole day.
* After service are quite good. They are giving a special offer called "Never mind Offer " in which if the phone's display get broken by falling unexpectedly they will replace it free but buyer have to register for it and i did it.
Cons:
* Camera performance is not satisfactory. Rear camera take good shots but it's miss capturing detail, front camera is just average. I am not satisfied with this phone's camera. In the same price you will get better option if your main priority is camera.
* Having 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM is still lag(may low ram and rom is the reason)...when i click 'recent button' it lag most of the time.The phone is ok but it's lag sometime. And that annoyance me.
* Audio sound quality is good but it's volume is limited. Most of the time i don't hear it properly though i keep the volume at the highest level.
Conclusion : I don't regret that i bought samsung j4. This phone is OK for me. I am not big fan of taking pictures but watching movies(super amoled display -hahaha) and want to use my phonelong time without giving less charge and this phone give me all of this.

Overall a good phone for the price. But I'm finding phone calls are difficult. It is VERY hard to hear the other person, to the point of having to put the call on speaker even though volume is at maximum. Is there anywhere to alter this? My previous J1 had various settings for volume but the J4 only seems to have one

In Nepal it is available in 3gb ram n 32gb rom bt it has only 1.4 gigaharz quad core processor , how is this mobile porformence anybody tell me plz.
