Above that the brand value. Samsung spends a lot in marketing and R&D. You will see all the innovations from companies like Apple, HTC, Samsung, etc. These are the companies to start anything first.
The first Android phone was HTC magic. HTC also introduced proprietary skins via HTC Sense. The first full metallic phone was HTC One M7. The first dual camera setup in HTC M8 eye. The first fingerprint sensor in Apple iPhone. I can go on and on....

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2018why its has just qued core processor nowadays every mobile... moreAgree that most of the devices these days are octa core (8 cores). But their set-up is 4+4. That is 80% of the time only 4 cores are used for all tasks, the other 4 cores are stand-by and they come into action only when needed such as video recording, gaming etc.

At least add magnetic sensor compass and make front camera 13 mp as rear camera. Also make aluminium body with gorilla glass . The good thing is removable battery

All round simplicity and feels great amazing gaming and video and camera. low light pictures aren't quiet that great but other than that awesome phone.
