Camera is very bad &it's not like the super amoled display but the HD display is very good. Rest everything is very good.

I got the "J500H" version of J5 from the philippines and here's my honest review. The battery is good and long lasting (It depends on your usage). The camera quality is good but not the best.The Auto Focus is not good.The System is running flawlesly. It's so Excellent on Multitasking. It doesnt Lag,Hang and No Heating issue. Finally,the phone is not good for heavy gaming...No notification Light. No NFC.... Overall Im Satisfied

AnonD-480216, 24 Dec 2015I am using this phone from 2 mnths,and today when i woke up... morei got this same problem with my j5 yesterday and after many unsuccessful attempts to fix it i searched on the web and saw that i had to reinstall the original os(firmware).i checked sammobile site and downloaded the firmware(875 mb zipped file),when unzipped the file is 1.81 gb,odin,samsung drivers for phone and followed instructions from sammobile site,and after a lot of trial and error last night i finally reinstalled the os. i was trying to root phone with kingroot when i got that error.not me and root again,i am leaving it stock.it is a good midrange phone.good luck.

I am using this phone from 2 mnths,and today when i woke up i was,shocked coz my phone was showing a msg 'custom binary blocked by frp'
I dnt what had happended last night it was working fine.any idea abt this issue?

You cant expect much from a budget phone. And i dont understand why people arent fine with the camera. Am a camera enthusiast and the camera on j5 is ok. It takes better picture as compared to other budget phones. And as for a5, its costlier with more or less the same processor.

Only in low light shooting m4 aqua seems to win.
Camera focus and shutter speed is amazing.
