App lock and auto call recorder are also not working after updation.... and device options are also wiped off.
ATTENTION J5 USERS IN INDIA :
NEW USERS : Please dont update to J500FXXU1AOJ1 which was released to the end of October. Per reports, it was a bad update. So turn off the automatic updates, right away you start using the phone. Its better if you don't turn on WIFI during the initial set up as the updates are set to automatic and the phone may download it by the time the set up is complete.
CURRENT USERS : Bombard Samsung with complaints and that will prompt them to release a fix. I had a similar experience with S4 Mini and Samsung released a fix in a months time.

I got the phone for about 2 monts and it work perfectly, but i got only one issue cant receive any viber massage from senders when my phone is locked

1. No front Led Indicator.
2. No back light for capacative buttons.
3. No metal frame. (just plastic).
4. Only 8 Gb internal memory. (4 Gb available to users)
5. 2 Gb RAM would have been batter.
6. No Compass for Maps/Navigation.
7. No Gorilla Glass.
8. High price tag.

user, 14 Oct 2015good phone but it keeps on hanging every day. Same here sir, it is a good phone, but keep hanging every time in between typing. What is the solution for it

I don't have problem with my J5. In fact it became much responsive and my battery backup will have 23-24 hours fully charge now. No overheating issues.

What problems d... moreyou are right bro from last update my j5 battery backup reduced and it hangs i visited service center after long arguement now they are changing mother board i will get my phone tommrow then i will post what happnes

Front camera has gesture shot. Battery is great with power saving mode. For better music quality, install 3rd party apps like equalizer+ coz only have google play music. Its good for games too. Good device. I like my j5 gold

I just purchased this set a month ago.
It's rear camera is not like 13MP compare to microsoft 640XL but front is awesome with FHD video recording.
No Heating problem. Good pixel resolution with 170 degree view.
Not much hanging problem.
Battery is really good, last long for 1.5 days (when using only data mode).
But problem occured in this mobile when i install a new update.
Its start heating or hanging.
Resolved problem for a while when I restart cell just.
But problem still carried.

basanta, 18 Nov 2015battery life is worst. screen is one sided,no rolling patt... moreit based on how u using it. no complain. no blaming phone, blame on urself.
