If it's not, IPS should have been there instead. TFT unrealiable under bright light. Just noticed this when saw phone on display in mall.

Manufacturer make their phone with gorilla glass so that they can attract more customer into buying things they dont need. Brainwashed society today just assume that no gorilla glass means no quality and you probably dont want your friend to make fun of you for not having gorilla glass on your phone; so you could fit into the society. Afterall, when that gorilla glass break you have to pay 6 times the repair price of a simple tempered glass instead.

Besides, Samsung only uses their SuperAmoled display on the flagship and high end smartphone. Galaxy J5 is just a midrange device. Gorilla glass in unecessary. Some common materials can also scratch Gorilla Glass. The biggest culprit is sand. Hard rocks work similarly; if you drop your smartphone on the ground and it skids along concrete or rocks, it's display will be scratched. Other types of glass, rare metals, and very-hard materials like diamonds can also scratch a Gorilla Glass screen. It is better to just buy super strong tempered glass. 1.5gb ram is still good. More than that is just gravy. People buy phone with higher ram to future proof their phone for advanced features of android OS like the android lollipop, android m and even android n.

The new samsung galaxy j5 & j7,becoz this phone software lolipop 5.1.rear camera is 13 mp led flash.front camera is 5 mp led flash.This phone have 1.5 GB RAM.

this phone is better than grand prime in specs but not better than E5 , E5 has better built quality than J series with corning gorilla glass 4 and super amoled . the grand prime is 150$ in my country and E5 is 185$ so I think that the J5 will cost 165-175$

have you experienced Galaxy j5 already? maybe having a Amoled display is good. for me j5 is better. even though it is TFT display for me it's worth the price.
