Wow! It offers Quick Charge 1.0 It charges phone very quickly but make sure you are using original charger that comes with box.

For those who are asking J5 2016 Model's charging time here the details:
1%=2.5 Minutes so that 100%*2.5=250 Minutes so that 250/60= 4.16. It means It will take 4.16 Hours from 0% to 100%. If you charge your phone for One hour it will charge only 24%.

I have the 2015 model of the j5 also the 2016. I cant recommend this for someone whowants to play intensive games since the snapdragon 410 is not the best at graphic intensive games like gta etc. The camera however is superb. Same goes for the screen and overall quality of the phone. The only downside of this phone is the fact that it still has the same outdated snapdragon 410 chipset which is inmost cases unoptimized for games and the android os. Dont get me wrong its a nice phone. Not much lag at the home screen menu etc. Games is just the problem. IF YOU ARE HOWEVER wanting a gaming phone for cheap then please by all means get the j7 2016. It is 100% better than the j5 in my experience. Both in specs and real life usage proves this.
