J5 2016 is trash. I bought one new about 8 months ago, never dropped it or anything. It worked fine for about the first 7 months but lately it just seems to have become a problem for no reason at all. I've always been good with electronics, computers, phones, etc so I know when I have a problem with a device, it's the device, not me. I don't know if it was the Android 7 update or just a faulty phone but I can't seem to do anything right on this piece of garbage phone. The screen turns on randomly even when I'm not touching it. Google chrome is constantly refreshing for no reason. Spotify and other music apps stop playing music for no reason. Everything is glitchy and just doesn't work right. Tried factory restoring and that didn't help. Still tons of problems. Seems to have a problem with literally everything you tell it to do.

Which one is better samsung galaxy j5 (2016) or j3 (2017)? Is j5 outdated? Price is the same..:)

I have been using this phone for 7 months and it is working perfectly, I got the Nougat update, I only have a problem with memory but a micro SD will solve that.

All countries that have j5 10GN version had already upgraded to 7.1.1 except for my country the philippines.. WHY??..... Feeling hopeless now.

Ananth, 03 Jan 2018i am also using that samsung j5 2016 released mobile is wel... moreBe patient, it needs more power to adapt to the new tasks in nougat. Wait till at least a week and then factory reset ur phone. You'll be having a better battery life than on marshmellow

i am also using that samsung j5 2016 released mobile is well and good then i recently update the os 7 naught very good experience very fast but main defects is the battery power consuming is very high so i am degrade the os version 6.0
if it's in future to solve that issue update is worth.
