This phone is just good.I enjoy it for 3 years now.I planning to Keep it for but last year a week before my spigen case arrived to replace older one,my power button broken,home button also no more responsive,screen turn into yellow gradient from bottom while upper side still normal colour.Worst part is after I suddenly drop ceiling money to part are not cover by screen protector.Overall I have no issues with this phone.No lagging,screen froze etc..Now I got redmi phone the ui is very different but thank goodness is clean of ads(Maybe I turn off recommendetion in all system app) but from my perspective opinion I love Ui of Samsung.Its ergonomic and minimalist for Miui its clean and smmoth . It's up to individual taste, don't get me wrong every person has their own opinion (Sorry for bad grammar)

Miss my J5-6, it never lagged.

Best phone, good camera result. but now it hangs/slows down due to its age factor

I use this phone for maybe 3 years now. I got it from a person which used it for several years too. And I must say - it's REALLY durable! It fell several times on the floor from my bed and from my hands, and didn't even get a scratch on it!
About the performance - well, it's not that great. Maybe because of years of use, I'm not sure. It runs Among Us pretty well :D.
Battery life, I believe, decreased, but still holds 1.5 days of occasional use or less than a day on quite heavy usage.
Camera shots pictures and captures video, and that's about it. Nothing special. Pictures captured at night are not very beautiful.

If you root this phone and remove most of the touchwiz bloatware, this phone flies even with 2gb of ram.
Granted, it will fall behind on games but anything else, it will do perfectly fine. I have tried costum roms on this, but the original 7.1.1 firmware is the best option. It will run all apps anyway.

Impossible to remove stock apps, and these app happen to be crazy heavy in terms of storage (200 MB to 400 MB). Samsung and Google, y'all can do better.

This phone totally sucks
Sometimre it get bugged, can't play music and videos until i restart it , plus somtimes I get a message of the SIM card is not plugged and I need to restart the phone o it can work .
The phone is full of problems in-apps like IG or whatsapp ...

How to extend battery life,
To prolong the life of your battery pack, keep these tips in mind for proper lithium-ion battery care.The lifespan of your lithium-ion battery should last between 300-500 charge and discharge cycles,(depending on the manufacturer) which usually amounts to 2-3 years.The trick is how to prolong those cycles,In short if I want my battery to last longer, I shouldn’t charge it above 85%, and don't let it discharge below 25% battery level. At this range, you receive the best balance of depth of discharge and runtime. If you stay in this zone, you can maximize your battery use and retain that healthy battery life for a much longer time.Li-ion batteries are designed to perform its best between 30 percent and 80 percent capacity so, once the battery hits lower than 30, feel free to charge your smartphone already.
Likewise, once the charge hits 85 percent,(MAX 89% ! ) you really don't need to wait for your phone to reach 100 percent anymore, you can check this in battery- power consumption details- battery usage- and you will see how this cycle does not count here,(there you will see the battery life or the last charge, but if you charge up to 100% after each charge it resets and starts from 0, which means that another cycle is taken away)
(Discharging the battery to 0% is the biggest destroyer).
Think of you battery as the human body throughout the day. You don't really need to wait like you're about to die to take some rest and recharge yourself and you also don't need a perfect eight or nine hour sleep to be able to function at full capacity.
the fact that it destroys the battery is heat, so when you use the phone for a long time, it is better to remove the back cover and keep it away from the heat source, including the hands that heat the phone, so hold it by the frame.
This is from experience and definitely works.
