Very slow phone. I contacted Samsung tech support and was told that the OS takes a lot of RAM leaving very little for applications to be able to run.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) Speed: HSPA 21.1/5.76 Mbps, LTE Cat4 150/50 Mbps
Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) Speed: HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps, LTE Cat4 150/50 Mbps
Is this correct? J3 (2016) model supports more speed than J5 (2016)?

i have updated software yesterday officially by samsung, i forget the version, since updating the battery life is drained faster than before, i dont know why. Device performance is same no change, still good. So basically whats the purpose updating the new software? fixing the issues? nope ! i have poor battery life now.

Ajay , 06 Mar 2017Dont buy samsung midrange phones. Thease are overpriced and... moreApple, Huawei, HTC, Samsung, Motorola they're all the same. All phones are overpriced and really only cost around £50-£100 (or whatever currency you use) to make. It's all about the brand, the more popular the more expensive.

Very good phone (european version). Works like charm. No problems found so far. After update (2016 december version), doesn't make it slower or something.

I feel the worst thing with Samsung is its AMOLED display which makes contents look artificial. Sometimes the images stray far off from the reality. What about the IPS LCD? It usually produces life-like images. There is no sensible reason to rank the AMOLED over the IPS LCD.
