Hello, bought this in 2016, it works. I am not it's user anymore, but my dad uses it still. It works like new one. It dropped many times also, still works, screen is perfect. No damage or wear. Fast and great. Samsung sports tracker is used a lot in this one. 4th year started recently, and we have no plans to change this thing anytime soon, thanks.

The gsmarena specifications says the model SM-J510F has NFC!
I can't find it!(mt phone has android 7.1.1 and Samsung Experience 8.5 and the build number is NMF26X.J510FXXU2BRE2.
Any help appreciated!

Seems stupid to ask, but how do you turn on the game performance mode in game launcher, hehe, I can only turn on battery saving

Because mine already more than 2 years and working great. Battery also very good than my s6 edge. But now already lag if use multiple heavy apps.

Its understandable that j5 2016 will not get the taste of oreo but i hope even just a security update samsung will continue to support this phone. My phone is stock on january security patch.

This phone does't show interest for Samsung because is almost 3 years old and is not an galaxy S. Why would Samsung pay a team of developers and testers to implement Android 8 for the j5 2016 if this phone is no longer relevant?

Pc, 17 Nov 2018Update 8.0 for Galaxy J510 ? I honestly do not think J5 2016 gets Oreo. Only J7 2016 gets it because it has a newer Octacore processor.
