Anniemac, 10 Jul 2018Where can I find the setting to allow my screen to rotate?I'm using Google's Play Store "Rotation Control" app from CrapeMyrtle
I love this app, very simple and powerful with no ads.
You simply Start the program and clic "Start controlling rotation" (you also have the option to "Start on boot"), then you can easily control the rotation (even with the phone blocked) from the notification zone (slide finger from top to bottom)

Avoid this thing, 13 Jul 2018Avoid this thing at all cost. I have this, I like this, but... more1. It's a budget phone.
2. All of those mentioned can be disabled and.
I have it. Never goes under 3gb of storage left.
Most phones have facebook pre installed now.
3. Its a phone from 2016. 2 0 1 6.

This is the first phone I've gotten and I've had it for a bit longer than 2 years. It still works perfectly but when I get my next phone I'll look for one with about 2gb more storage since about half of it is taken up by the device.

I carry my phone all the time when cycling.(it has ANT+ and i can connect devices like HRM and candence) For some reason when it wakes (maybe after a call) and when i sweat a lot, is getting crazy. Doesn't listen my commands, the touch screen stop works. i have to wait a lot, or try to restart the phone.
But its a good and reliable phone.

Its such a worst phone i have ever seen or use in my life. right after 5 days of purchase. its working too slow bettry issue, softwear issue again worst phone in my life.

The J5 2016 received in Romania a software update of about 280 MB yesterday. Security Pach 1 June 2018 now.

The J7 2016 is planned for Oreo 8.0.0 and the J5 2016 seems to be only 7.1.1

Galaxy j5 2016 is very week to catch the network range. It catches very week mobile networks. Please update this.

love the phone had since launch no major issues. The only problem I had with my handset was it didn't like any memory card and if i did put one in kept saying no storage card. But i have got used to it. Sound quality excellent as I wear hearing aids and i can use them with this hand set

Have owned since first launch. Andriod OS updated to 7.1.1 Still working ok with no problems. To date has been a very good, reliable phone.

OS always crashes and seeing a frequent optimization screen, disgusting. Does anyone has any better idea rather than factory reset ?

battery drain fast after android 7.1 then stopped charge at 79%
i had to downgrade to android 6.1 again
Does samsung forcing us to upgrade phones ?!
