Camera is great, very decent photos. My cousin said it was like a normal 299€ camera from a store, so great quality. You may don't like it a original price, I bought it from offer for 179 €. For this price is 7/10 phone. No more. Metal build is gorgeous.
Would be nice to have Full HD screen on this.
Storage is ok.

Goof phone, big screen, fast. Facebook is slow, but their app usually is slow despite the phone, have tried also on my friends expensive phone. Facebook app lag was there to find out.
GPS not working all the time, so Google Fit not recognising walks automatically all the time. Good look and quality, too bad this bloatware. After fresh install almost over 40 apps pre-installed on Play Store you can't remove. You can remove only 10 of them, just disable, not deleting. Good phone, but not for people who likes original android.
A sim card slot is easy to open.

Overpriced af. No LED notification light, no backlight for the capactive keys, no always on display, only 2GB ram, basically - NO FEATURES THAT STAND OUT. Camera is mediocre, display is only 720p and on close up very grainy. They didn't even put a full HD display. Samsung has become very stingy and greedy, my next phone will be NOKIA or any other brand is cheaper than sucksung
the phone sells for 270€ retail price, at this price point you can get a phone with at least 32GB + 3GB ram

i have the Gr3 2017 now and was thinking of swapping with J5 2017, but after seeing the specs and opinions i changed my mind. J5 2017 is garbage compared to the Gr3 2017.

I did not like this phone ( Samsung j5 2017). Defense was very weak . The phone had a shock-proof protector and 3d csreen protector . But already 2 times the screen was damaged. Before that there was samsung s3 . This phone is one of Samsung's errors. I spent 218 USD on repair. And now the sound is broken...Samsung damages

Samsung still hasn't confirmed if this phone gets Oreo?!? But i'm sure it will but first S series is being dealt with, then A series and probably after that it's J series turn (at least J5&J7 (2017) should get it... we'll see.
