is t... moreHi, I own this device. Galaxy J5 2017 - Duos. Currently use 1 sim only. Batterry life depends on usage , and settings.
I have set manual sync. of e-mails, push notifications and. Howewer I use Samsung browser a lot, I always use night mode, with black background, which is Amoled friendly, so I can confirm 2 full days withaut charging.
Photos from the rear camera are in very good quality thanks for f1/7 especially in good light conditions, but in a poor light conditions they have more noise.
Comparing with a Galaxy A5 - 2016 as my previous phone, I miss OIS in this device, but it is not so bad.
Howewer there are some specifications lower against my previous A5 - 2016 , e.g HD display only, lover quality of photos as OIS is missing, this device is better, thanks for a 14nm FinFet technology of Exynos 7870 chipset.
The phone looks great with a premium feel. The environment is pleasantly smooth , and really good for use thanks for Samsung Experience 8.1

AnonD-733716, 31 Jan 2018Xiaomi Mi A1 or Samsung Galaxy J5/J7 (2017) which to buy ??Seriously, why dont you just use the compare option of this site and see how samsung phones offer a lot less for the price; both the 2017 J5 and J7 offer inferior cpu and graphics compared to the A1 or most midrangers, the j5 even has a 720p screen, in 2018, when ~$200 phones are coming with 1080x2160 screens...
Wake up people, so samsung can wake up too and stop upselling with prices of 3 years ago, thats just crazy!

its dual sim version has 3 slots for 2 sim cards & 1 micro SD card in the same time , its great
, I use 2 sim cards + 64GB silicon power micro SD card
but for example in a HUAWEI P10 lite you have to choose one between sim card 2 or memroy card

AnonD-718233, 29 Jan 2018I am a samung fan but i will say fo for mi a1 or redmi 5 plusDon't compare big worldwide Samsung with local Xiaomi of China ! they (Xiaomi) don't have any services in many countries (you have to put your Xiaomi in recycle when having problem or when drop down of your hands & break screen of ...) & very poor after service system , weak store & no 2nd hand customer also not famous in stores of many cities also in a country with exist of its devices in big cities ! poor quality & problems (like sudden death in redmi 3 pro) + poor camera quality & can't find good SAR value in many models also antenna power , & many other issues

Samsung also good performance,back and facing camera,update on Oreo later.Nokia poor performance,only good in fast update and that's it.Huawei nothing good in anything.

Aneela, 23 Jan 2018Please tell me how much internal memory is available for us... more24 gb. If you still need another free space you can use micro sd. This device isn't hybrid, the phone have two sim card place and one for micro sd card.
