I saw the video of i... moreAlthough the resolution dosnt look very good on paper, i csn assure you that it is excellent and is very clear, i have upgraded from a galaxy s5 neo and the j5 2017 is a lot more modern and clearer than the s5 neo, battery lasts me all day no problems. even the fingerprint scanner works flawlessly. im very happy i bought this phone.
p.s for a mid range smartphone, what do you expect? its not going to have the most amazing specifications or features.
its certainly not a smartphone to play loads of games with, id say the occasional small game, some browsing, listening to music and watching videos is all it is built for. not high end gaming and performance!
so stop posting comments saying "its not the best phone" because we already know and your just stating the obvious.

Very good phone. Exterior is premium with full metal body. Interior is excellent with lots of storage and great amoled screen. I bought 2 phones, one for me and one for my daughter, and I am so pleased that next month I will buy a 3rd one for my wife.

Warning!! Before buying this phone, i bought this phone 2 days ago, every object scratches the screen i got already 5 permanent scuffs from plastic objects and 2 from metal the screen is really weak, if you want to buy this device you will need a screen protector, i am really disapointed.

720p is not good enough for the price. I saw the video of it being compared to s8. It looks like the j5 is using a 480p screen. I will not recommend this to people who use lot of multimedia content. The durability of the screen is another problem.

I bought J5 2017 (J5 Pro named in Iran) , its great , finally J series come with useful sensors it has fingerprint , RGB , Hall , NFC , compass , Gyroscope & ... it supports 4.5G (4G+). battery is very good , cameras are very good

Should really come with Gorilla Glass 3 rather than 2 especially for the price and the rest of the specs. I have seen this in store and the all metal body really looks good and premium, but given the rest of the phone, it shouldn't cost this much with these specs. Can't wait for the GSM Arena review though.

Help. J5 2017 or A3 2017? Importhant thing is camera/video, premium design and battery. Android Version not importhant but 6.0 kinda outdated.. Is it confirmed A3 is way better than j5 2017? Like premium features.. dust and water proof nor importhant, but Gorrila glass is huge plus.
