I've have this phone about 2 years. Everything is working good. But the one thing that gave in is the camera. The rear camera became very blurry. It tries to autofocus but its seems there's some kinda mechanism issue. The front front camera working perfect.
So sad when I want to capture a moment, my camera disappoints me...

Anonymous, 15 May 2021J6 or J6+? which are better? tyIts a waste phone plz dont buy it . I am using this phone nothing is good in this phone . Buy Redmi Poco or Infinix brand phone .

Have had this phone since mid 2018 and it hasn't disappointed me one bit. Everything runs perfectly fine, it's smooth and hasn't lagged or crashed at all save for some hickups which I blame on the apps I was using. The display is vibrant and durable. It doesn't perform great in bright sunlight, however, this is the first phone I didn't put a screen protector on and it hasn't gotten a single scratch, dent, or smudge. I can clean the screen and it would be as good as new. I've dropped it once or twice and it didn't retain any evidence of the fall. My phone often stands screen down even when I put it on hard surfaces. I've had my cat scratch it while watching cockroach videos and even a carnivore's claws seem to be informidable. Personally, I am impressed considering the price tag.
Battery life is more than enough for regular use. It can hold a full day of YouTube binging. It may struggle if you're travelling in which case I recommend bringing a power bank or making the most out of plane mode but all in all it could probably hold up for a full day even at full brightness. It charges quickly for a non-powercharge phone but next to even a 15W power charge it might be comparable to garbage. I don't need quick charge so that never bothered me.
Overheating hasn't been a problem even in the summer (summer weather being 35-40°C in the hottest days). The phone is relatively thin and disperses heat neatly and efficiently even through a thick case like the one I've dressed it in.
The stock headphones are relatively ok for music, and especially nice for podcasts or radio shows. ASMR sounds alright, too.
The only two problems I've had with it are the terrible dynamic range on the camera and the fact it comes with an indestructible Facebook application which can only be disabled. Knowing fb that wouldn't stop them from peeping and abusing. I would've paid an extra 30 bucks for no Facebook. The battery is non-removable but that's hardly a problem considering how easy it would be for a technician to change it. Even still, I will always show better appreciation to a phone with a removable battery.

Had a J6 for about 2 years. Great phone, good battery life, have not had any issues with it.

I have this phone for 2 and a half years and is still a beast. What only sucks is it's full on storage I haven't even upgraded it to Android 9. I was surprised to see that it is upgradeable to Android 10. And if somebody here willing to help me buy a new lcd because it's broken

i never had Samsung Before, been using Apple all the time which has been stolen, therefore I can not open my Gmail account!

Galaxy J6 2018 model received update (300+Mb), security february 2021 patch and optimizations for various components, on 25 march 2021, Romania:) Good experience, no problems after OTA Update. Still a good phone and battery is good after 2 years usage.

Mr. Help, 23 Feb 2021Actually, I updated mine to One UI 2 and Android 10...yes same here i just bought j6 today as replacement phone until my pixel 4 fixed and this one is also on android 10. at beginning was bit laggy but i disabled all the stock apps I was able to so now its usable
