Hello.I had bought Samsung Galaxy J7(2015) in January 2016.It was a smooth ride untill Marshmallow arrived.I was getting disastrous battery life but the phone became more smooth and lag free.Then,I downgraded to 5.1.1 using Odin software because I was tired of it's low battery life.But,I missed all the new settings and faster processing of Marshmallow update.Hence,I again updated it to Android 6.0.1.Now today,I got a screen on time of 6 hours 20 mins and the battery percentage is still at 32%.Phone is very smooth with just some occasional lags(not noticeable).
CAMERA - I suggest to use 4:3 aspect ratio for better quality images as this phone has a damn awesome camera!Avoid using flash and download third party apps like Camera FV-5 for some professional shots.
No OTG support after Marshmallow update which bothers me!!
Speaker volume should have been louder but I'm used to the default volume now.
The phone does not heat up easily.

Great Phone with good battery life,i'm enjoying it.No heating problems,display is good.Camera nice,otg supported etc

A friend got me one (he thought it was time I came into the real world!) - for years I'd relied on a little Nokia mobile which I thought was all I needed, but after all my data was transferred to the Samsung I HAD to learn how it worked. I panicked when I heard about the Samsung phones blowing up, but fortunately my model is ok and I'm GRADUALLY getting used to it! Remarks like yours are invaluable though! Every time I just download new app and install then error in a setup time just like- >
Screen overlay detected
To change this permission setting , you first have to turn off the screen overlay from setting >apps
Open setting.
How is this possible & terrible think is that no settings in this phone on apps settings . Awesome what a shame from samsung brand . I am surprised.

Samsung galaxy j7 is one of the best Smartphone Don't go with -ve user opinions,it's fabulous phone with its best price range, NO WORDS FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY J7 .... it's UNBEATABLE. 😎
