For US-version of this J7, confirmed as well: Last OS update= Android 7.1.1., security patch update= August 1, 2017, Base vers= J700T1UVU3BQK3. UX vers: 8.5.
For this year - I may need to use my S7-edge as my primary, and make this J7 as WiFi-enabled only purpose. J7-2015 is now on its last sunset setting.
Good Luck to all on your next smartphone gadget ..... my advice = get the new J7 Duo-2018.

I am currently using this phone for 2 years now. I don't recommend this phone. It says the camera is 13 MP for the front however it has a bad megapixel still. TH einternet connection is bad as well.
