I got Nougat update on my j7 (2015) about two weeks ago. Surprised. ...but happy. Ty Samsung!!!!! My next phone will sooo be another samsung.

This is what Samsung livechat agent said.fucking samsung
Updates are released post complete testing by the team, and we would not be able to confirm whether J7 2015 will get nougat or not as there is no such information released by Samsung related to the nougat update for devices.I would have loved to provide you information on that, however I do not want to give you any wrong commitment as there is no such information released by Samsung and that is the reason I am unable to provide any information aboput nougat update for J7 2015

I will never buy another Samsung phone. Podcast stops after a few minutes and will only restart when power button is pushed. Can't find any help and that is why no more Samsung for me. Saving up for an Iphone.
