this phone has a very serious problem ; no automatic brightness. if you went out in the sun you won't be able to use the phone because you get a black screen and dont know where the checkbox for outdoor. you have to use trial and error. and try to remember its position on the screen blindly.
i don't know why did they remove the light sensor, how much it costs,very bad decision.
need this outdoor brightness option to be available on any button with known position or a combination of buttons with known position

After watching so many phone specs and following new devices here on GSMarena i have only one question.... IS it really neccesary for a phone to have 4,6 or 8 cores ? All you need to do is give your best to make fast and quality phone. You may say anything you want about Apple but i respect them cos their 2 cores phone beats even most of 8 cores phones... Still, i will never own any Apple phone but still i respect that.

I have this phone for 2months
But i will recommend u to buy asus instead of j7.
J7 hanging too much.
Low sounds.
Low ram memory.
Sometimes restarting automatically.

Review after 1 week of usage
Very nice phone
No lagging
Awesome sound quality (low sound is a rumour spreaded by some people,it's okk)
Excellent battery life
Go for it !!!

Cheong, 10 Nov 2015Definitely is the Exynos version!In reality exynos mid and low end are waste with worst gpu. Snapdragon is best as adreno is good for gaming in all ranges

nice phone.... love my j7
some points to be noted:
bad points:
-low speaker quality
-no cortex gorilla screen so pls buy good quality tempered glass cover at the time you order the phone
best points about j7:
-phone doesnt hang and works smoothly
-screen touch(feeling to fingers while using) is good
-you can save your apps in memory card too
-front flash for selfie lovers.

Why don't you guys discuss price which country has most discounted, what else specs are same as in launch will stay same for Life. 210$ is best bargain I got k saudia, now he is not giving again for so little. Why can't we send to each other by Tcs, or Courier.

Samsung should make a "pure Android" line as well. Say - put pure Android on the J7 and name it ... P7.
