Just now received nougat update in Russia around 1030.79mb Download started and waiting to see the new UI. Thanks Samsung. As usual j7 2016 got nougat in Russia first and follwed by india...Same will applicable for j7 also...

A new version of this phone has been released in Asia called J7 Core. Exactly the same phone but memory now 2Gb to be able to run Nougat...Best phone for so little money...Of course if u have the money J7 Pro is the best.

Patience is needed guys. We would recieve it if its meant to. So its nothing ✌ just some more days atleast we could get an information about it or atleast a yes or no

nicosam, 08 Sep 2017We should talk more on this so that it gets the level of at... moreIt is that oreo has launched... android p is in the making....and we all are waiting for NOUGAT...ashamed of samsung.....i think j7 2015 models with 2 gigs of ram will be getting in november(probably)....samsung live chat is a useless thing....only they can say is 'we cannot say anything now. If the update is there you will be notified.. a different team is working on this' they say only these lines... samsung probably wants to make us buy their new phones...

FYI, remove your SIM card and just connect to WiFi, and manually download software updates when it does come. This is tech-tip from my contact here from Ss development, as I left MetroPCS after 4 months and got on board to a cheaper carrier - saving me 20 bucks /month. Cheers!

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2017j700T applies for even original samsung j7 2015,just google it...Hey, I am in the right forum for J7 2015 ... but you fail to understand that Samsung seems to just release Nougat update on phones made last year. Lucky are those people who got the J7 2015 T & P variants - as they got the WiFi Certification recently to receive Nougat update.
