"Thanks for waiting, the current information is that the Android 7.0 Nougat will be available in November". Thats a response from Samsung chat representative when asked about J7 2015.

We... moreThe reason being J7 2015 got considered getting the Nougat update is due to the caveat that SamSung released another version on 2016, - " J700T/T1 ". As these were manufactured in May, 2016, released a month or so after. Out of the box, already running 6.0.1 Marshmallow, comes with the 2GB of RAM, Samsung octo-core chipset @ 1.5Ghz, NFC, and fingerprint on home button. I think Samsung should have made the J7 2015 with these specs from the onset instead of the lesser offering - Snapdragon 615, 1.4 Ghz on 4 cores, 1.0Ghz on the other 4, and 5.1.1 lollipop OS.

Come on buddy, atleast some news or something... moreAt first the agent confirmed that the update is on its way to be released... but now another one is telling that it is in making......we have to wait ....they will send me email when the update is out...but yes they confirmed that the device is surely getting the nougat...........and one thing i want to say is that i think..we all know samsung approximately releases update every three months...as the j7 2015 have already got the august patch....we have to wait till september last or october.......

Ota carriers vary from every country so samsung are not obliged to make amends or assure a sw update. So the update is neither confirmed nor leaked. Based on the rumours i still hope we ll get the android 7.0.
And BTW whats the nickname is all about.??

Hello all users of J7 2015. I am not going to spread any kind of fake news. Today i had a chat session with Samsung helpline. They have no info about the Nougat Update for the J7 2015. It may be a Yes, May be a No. Dont Dream like our device is going to get update in this month. A solution for this is we have to Install Ported Nougat ROM from here. I will be doing so if Samsung wont provide the Update. Let me throw a link for the Nougat Ported ROM from A5 2016

To OP, I see the ram management kinda weird and slow running while managing different set of apps. I do feel that the ph is slow after the august security patch.

Since the device is still sold across india and some other countries with 1.5 gb spec, we can highly hope or anticipate getting 7.0.
