The J7 is a great phone for its price.
I have been on a phone hunt for the past week and finally settled on the J7 after doing some research and making comparisons with different phone models and brands at my local phone shop. I was looking for a mid-range phone, I didn't include low-end or high-end models on my search.
Generally, the mid-range phones I tested perform similarly on tasks such as opening net browsers, light gaming, etc. The only telling difference being the camera. So I had to narrow my search down to a phone with at least a good camera and the J7 fit that bill.
I'm very impressed by the new exynos 7850, it runs cool, it's very quick for its class and the pairing with the mali 720 gpu is just right because the phone is only 720p. The battery life is pretty good because of this combination. My Antutu benchmark gave it a 40k plus score, which is just a hair lower than the S5.
So for the price, performance, removable battery, expandable memory, very nice camera (just dont compare with iphone 6 or s6) I'd say samsung finally made a darn good and decently priced mid range phone.

[2] J7 has 1.5 gb RAM while E7 has 2gb RAM
[3] J7 has 1.5 GHz, Octa Core, Exynos 7580 Processor while E7 1.2 GHz, Quad Core, Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 Processor.
[4] J7 has Dual Sim [ three slot] & E7 have hybrid Dual SIM [2 slots] 2nd slot takes Sim or Sd card
[5] j7 has 3000 mAH, Li-ion Battery and E7 has 2950 mAH Li-ion.
[6] J7 has removable battery and E7 has fixed
[8] J7 can take card slot upto 128Gb while E7 card slot can take 64Gb
[9] J7 is slim 7.9mm and E7 is 7.3mm
[10] E7 has cornilla Glass 4 J7 most probably has ordinary tough glass

To those who already bought J7 in the Philippines, do the stores near you have stocks of gold and black color ? Because in our area they only sell the white one, they do not have gold and black color and I want the black one.
