insanejojo, 29 May 2017No guarantee of nougat update... some leaked documents of s... morewith oppo n vivo eating samsung marketshare rapidly...samsung has improved its update policy to retain customers.why do you think we are geting monthly security updates?It is the only way samsung can retain customers by showing that it supports your phone with fsst updates whereas oppo,vivo cant.so samsung will give nougat.besides,i think samsung is right too.WITH THE EXCELLENT SUPPORT THST SAMSUNG IS GIVING,I WILL STICK WITH SAMSUNG IN THE FUTURE.

hi all, since i was not able to get this 1.79mb update, i downloaded the firmware from sammobile and flashed it on my phone yesterday.
the old firmware version:
J700FXXU4BQE3/J700FODD4BQE1/J700FXXU4BQE3
the new firmware version:
J700FXXU4BQE3/J700FODD4BQE1/J700FXXU4BQE4
smart switch was not able to get this small update, i tried. flashing was the only option.
so if u see the number 4 at the end means you have the last 1.79 update.

my sansung j5 2015 has almost 700mb free ram after clearng ram smart manager.but j7 2015 with ecactly same apps installed shows 300mb free ram.please samsung release an update to improve ram management.besides allow us to uninstall gameloft games.please.these are bloatware
