sammobile nougat is actually not for j7 2016 cuz j710fn has PDA:J10FXXU..... and not J710FDDU...... if u download it for j7 u r just wasting 1.4gb of data

samsung live chat is useless they keep on saying "However, updates are released through FOTA in waves only so we will notify you any update in this regard via FOTA i.e Menu> Settings> About Device> Software Update>
Auto Update> Enable it."

I think Samsung is not willing to give nougat update to j7 2016. Since quite long time they are fooling us. The live chat agents always keep mum regarding the nougat update.

Anyone knows how good Asia is for updates because mine is J710GN and its Asian model.Are they fast at updates ?

Update: This seems to be a false alarm, or something is currently up with Samsung’s update servers, as the firmware that has gone online for the Indian J7 fails to install on the device. An over-the-air update isn’t available either, so we would suggest holding off from trying out this firmware. We’ll let you know once the update actually starts arriving.
They will let us know about it.
