Almost all other phones that are much weaker than J7 16 received nougat update. And it's been 3 months since this phone has been on test for nougat and still no update while other received it. Bye samsung

Rather than giving nougat update to j7 2016, Samsung launched new model J7 nxt with nougat update. This is disgusting! When Android O will come, Samsung will stop J7 nxt and will launch new phone with same specs but with android O.

I have totally lost the hope of getting the nougat update, even I have stopped receiving security patch updates after 1st june security patch. Samsung does not clarifies anything which is worst

Anonymous, 15 Aug 2017This phone is actually amazing...for 200$ you get this much... moreno doubt great fone but m not happy wd the display its not that bright... i think its due to lower ppi which is 267 only...
i compare it wd the same resolution fones n they have bit brighter disply... and that is due to smaller disply 5 inch n ppi score goes high to 294 on same resolution like j7 and j7 has 5.5 inch diply so pixel divide n thats why disply may b bit brighter n better in j5 6.....
