Guys while chatting from Samsung Mobile India page, their executive too confirmed that J7 2016 will get nougat update soon but didn't mentioned the date. He told to kindly wait for the next update as it will be coming through FOTA. Let's keep the fingers crossed...

It cant be delayed for 1 mounth... I dont know how can someone say that its delayed for 31 August when there is no information like that from Samsung.

guys , we will get nougat update 31 august , it been confirm 1 week before 30 july. pls keep updated ok, there is j7 16 facebook group . they have all the info about this phone. and yes samsung update is always late simply because they have a lot to optimize. have you seen pixel nougat and s7 nougat? s7 nougat simply the most beautiful to look at so stop whining and wait for a month more

And... moreThey have software updates..bt os update will affect the battery life and perfomance of phone ..consider iphone 4s on the release it gives awesome battery life of about 2days...today it wont even last for one full day of moderate usage...
