My phone got updated to June security patch overnight automatically. How can this happen? I didn't hit the update button nor my phone has auto update enabled. Next morning when I was using phone, it got switched off and then restarted automatically and when I checked the software info, it was displaying June security patch level. I live in India.

When i had LG phone i got marshmallow update few mounts after was out and that phone was even cheaper then galaxy j7 2016 and we have to wait 1 year.
Shame on Samsung they are seriously so bad with updates.

The update date was 31/07/2017 but they changed It to 31/08/2017 on 12th of July so J7 2016 users will wait one month more for the update. It is posted on twitter
