I have an J710GN and haven't even received android 7, I'm still on android 6.0.1. Anyone else in the same boat?

Have just updated, here in Israel, to Oreo for J7 2016 duos. So far it works OK, but I am a bit worried about the RAM available memory. It was typically about 1.1 GB under Nougat, and now it is about 0.83 GB.

It is already miracle that we got Oreo. Samsung midrangers never get two major updates, J7 2016 was the first phone to get that. So yeah... if we get Pie it would be just crazy.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the update, better optimisation, better battery usage and it is faster than before.

Overall oreo upsate is gud. But the only thing i noticed sometime is slow charging. Not everytime. But sometime it stuck on some perecnt and take much time there. I reser the fone but still the prblm is there. any solution guys?

Now finally update my j7 2016 in saudi arabia..now my phone is fine verry good update..oreo is amazing...after update close the developer option to save battery life...thanks samsung for 2 major update in j7 2016..

Chip in A5 just isn't powerfull enough to push Full HD display, and most of the apps will not run so great. Only things that are better on A5 are more storage space, 1GB of RAM more, fingerprint scanner and more premium build. I was also deciding between those two when I was buying mine more than two years ago, but I went for J7, and I don't regret it. Using it for more than two years now, and only problem is 16GB of storage, but I don't mind it too much. I have 32GB SD card and I store pictures and other stuff on it, so 16GB is still kinda enough for me.

My mobile gave me update to oreo, but I didn't download as of now, because my data has been used already. I can download it again by 1st of January next year.

i tried to shift apps the SD card but they dont open or work
apps need to still be in internal memory for them to work
the greatest drawback of this phone is 16GB internal memory
which is too low for these days apps
otherwise the Oreo update is fine

since i updated my phone to android oreo, all of my apps are frequently crashing : ( I've already reformatted it but still crashing.

I see gsmarena has mentioned that this phone supports micro sd card up to 256 GB. I'm thinking of getting a 128 GB Samsung's micro sd card. So I want to ask you guys, have any of you been using a 128 GB micro sd card with this phone? Did you have any issues?
