hi, i bought my samsung Galaxy j7(2016) before 1 month ago from now..
its a good phn but i am facing one problem...
whenever i too much use my phone such as using fb, msnger, talking over phone with other guys, sometimes skin becomes lose its original view..it becomes look like a china phn's skin..
it happens after somedays..
nd its repeating..
I am afraid of it..

Sriram, 12 Oct 2016I checked the spec of both J7 (2016) and On8. Both are almo... morebesides the chipset (as someone clarified below for gaming/browsing) the On8 is not available in the same countries that J7 2016 is, mine for example (Peru) we have J7 and J7 2016 but no signs of On8 (or any On series) so maybe that's the main difference :D

Thats was quick - the J7 2016 is already back on top of gsmarena's top 10 by daily interest list after a brief interruption by wanna bees like the iPhone 7, the Pixel and Redmi.

i bought my Samsung J7 2016 Oct. 1, '16. Compass Apps won't work on it because it doesn't
have built-in Magnetic Sensor. off line Maps Me apps wont work accurately.

This model has SIM Dual MICRO (SIM 1 4G/3G/2G;SIM 2 2G)
Which one is the SIM 1? Is it the upper one when holding it upright? or the one closest to the SD card slot?

I have the galaxy s5 with Straight talk, and it does not update I am very upset with that aspect of it. I didn't know that it did not update until after I got it. I'm debating on buying this. Is it a good switch? and worth it??

I checked the spec of both J7 (2016) and On8. Both are almost same, except... On8 has 3 GB RAM and full HD.
It means On8 has better spec in memory and display.
In spite of it, how come both J7 (2016) and On8 are being sold at the same price. (There may be 100-500 rupees difference between shops. Just ignore it).
Can somebody clarify this.

I have bought this phone 2 weeks before. The device is just performing okish. So far i have constantly faced 2 problems. One is when you shift between the camera and the gallery,the phone freezes upto 2 seconds and then opens. Second one is the camera. Its okay when you take steady shots keeping the phone really steady. Otherwise, I m ending up in getting shaken and out of focus. Its even in selfie too. If I am taking 10 snaps, 4-5 comes out of focus and then shaken-ed. I was using HTC desire 820 before this and boy it was way more better than the j7. But my phone is not getting heated up even after 30 mins of 3d gaming and downloading. Otherwise the device is okie.

Coolest device ever frm samsung
Well done guyz....
The j7 6 is a solid built and excels in design nd performance.Though its a mid range smartfone its the best f all
Gud camera,snappy performance,attarctive display ovarall its a gud phone in this price range
If u wonna buy a smartphone in this range simply go for it....
