I buy j7 i insert sim card when i start switch on only emergency call and asking pass word , any idea about it

J7-6 after switch on, within a minute displays your device is overheating and shuts down.
It does not charge the battery.
What may be reason ?

ankit, 20 Aug 2016J7 2016 or a5 2016 which 1 should i buy ? Any1 plz suggestJ7 (2016) is significantly cheaper and has better battery. A5 (2016) has a superior display but not worth the extra cost I reckon. I'm using J7 (2015) and that's a very good phone already. The 2016 version is even better.
