Yes very very bad feature samsung put in samsung j7 2016. Now really i can not play video through Mx player. Samsung insist to play video through its own inbuilt video player.
Only i can play video through mx player on file manager and through app. But in gallery if try to play you can not.
Due to which bad feature i am thinking to sell this device and want to go back j7 2015.
Samsung this time did wrong. Very very bad...

Guys i also facing same problem. When i try to play video through gallery then there is no option come to choose video player like mx player. Only inbuilt video player working. You can not play Mkv format or full hd video on samsung j7 2016 through gallery.
I called to samsung customer care to solve it.. they told me now you can not play video through M x player or any third party player through gallery.
So guys if you if you want to use M X player then thus mobike is not for you. Mx player working but you seperatly go to mx player app or through file manager.
I sold it after one day of use due to this bad feature. Now i purchased redimi note 3 and can use mx player.
Samsung did a wrong thing.
