    Samsung galaxy j7 2016 will receive Oreo in February 2019. It was published on Samsung Members.

My model is the SM-J710FZDROM.( Single Sim) Maybe it needs a general reset because I have never done it before.

          My phone runs phenomenal. I am from Romania. I don't need any updated so far. Why would i need 8.0 when everything suits me fine so far

And I have not received any updates yet! there are still J7 2016 owners in Europe who have stayed with security patch 1 March 2018?

                Anonymous, 13 Aug 2018No problems here in europe. Only indians complain Yes there are no problems in Europe with J7 2016 because no updates have been received since April 2018. Still no update from April! Security Pach 1 March 2018. But a problem appeared to me and there seems to be a bug on the camera when recording the video the phone remains stuck and I had to remove the battery to start.It would be better to get it to Oreo 8.0 as soon as possible

                    After 78.18 mb update in india.gallery app transition lags a lot while opening gallery app.
                    Any solution for this ????.

I don't understand all the fuss about the ... moreIt's mainly because of optimization, few new features and newer version of Android, afterall. But yeah, I can live with Nougat without a problem, but I also hope that we will get Oreo one day.

                        March 2019, lol. I don't understand all the fuss about the Oreo update. Is it really needed? Maybe, some of us want it. But is there anything that Oreo does, that Nougat can't do? I don't think so

This is the Samsung Members Romania page and only the J7 2016. It looks like the J7 2016 series has changed something and will receive 2 updates not just one

                              I don't think it will get oreo update..because samsung has clearly stated that galaxy j series will get only 1 major update

                                I bought a Sansung Galaxy J7 (2016) model number SM-J710MN; it is Dual-Sim (micro) with micro-SD.

                                    It is officially written on the Samsung Members Romania page! J7 2016 will receive Oreo 8.0 by 28.02.2019 with Galaxy Tab Active2 and J7 2017 will receive until 31.01.2019 and J5 2017 will receive until 31.12.2018! I was sure to be upgraded J7 2016 to Oreo was impossible to stay with only 7.0 !!!
