Spec situation
SamMobile has pointed out that the Galaxy J7 (2016) has actually been downgraded from the original variant that hit China. Said model featured a full 1080p sAMOLED display and 3GB of RAM. The Samsung-specific-site also made reference to reports that the devices are rumored to be launching in Europe and India soon.( News by Android Authority)...

SD615, 616 and 617: 4xCortex-A53 + 4xCortex-A53 (different clock speeds per cluster), Adreno 405
SD650: 2xCortex-A72 + 4xCortex-A53, Adreno 510
SD652: 4xCortex-A72 + 4xCortex-A53, Adreno 510
And, for your information, Adreno 405 can barely handle 1080p screens and Adreno 510 (which is as good as Adreno 418) has no trouble at all with that. So, all in all, SD650 and 652 are very different from SD615, 616 and 617.

J7 2016 model will available in the INDIAN stores only after j7 2015 model complete it's 1 year anniversary release. That is in June or July.
Samsung may announce the phone in MAY-end

Qualcomm's intention is to help better differentiate these chips from the likes of the Snapdragon 615, 616 and 617, which the company sees as inferior enough to warrant the rebrand. Aside from the naming, the 'new' processors are no different to the old. Guess which one Redmi note 3 uses?
