Changes from 2015 to 2016 model
Screen: 5.5" 720p to 5.5" 1080p
Processor: Same
RAM: 1.5 GB to 3GB
Battery: 3000mAH to 3300mAH
As always, it comes to the price. If they can price it at the J7(2015) pricepoint (i.e. 15k in India), then it would be fantastic. However I doubt it, and expect it to be priced a little higher. Something like 17k would be a good price.

Adreno 405 / mali 720 gpu is not enough for full hd gaming phones.
I don't want a metal body & fingerprint sensor on j7 2016. Because it will leads to sealing the battery inside the phone.

Only ppi and screen resolution upgrade 5 grade. Nothing new expect prices to be 250$ mX. Why is SAmmy just improving hardware, a bit and label 2016 model same. +

I am about to buy galaxy J7 this week, but then I found out that this new J7 2016 will release soon! And it changed my mind to buy J7. Can't wait this phone to come here in Philippines. I hope they release it soon!

Samsung has the ability to give good phones but they give the least possible specs in their phones. Now as all Chinese manufacturers have shifted to HD displays with higher ppi, higher RAM/ROM and more metallic / better plastics honorable Samsung thought to copy lately...
