                      I love this phone the performance ,battery ,display ,camera ,sound are amazing
                      I have upgraded to nougat last month and it's awesome

                        Yeah, right. There is still no Oreo for this phone and there is a big question if there ever will be. Even if we get it, it will probably be in October or something like that, since I also received Nougat in October last year. But yeah, Samsung usually releases one major update for their lower end devices and midrangers so I don't really hope too much for Oreo. There is a chance, though. Only because J5 2016 received Android 7.1 and we are on 7.0 , which still does not make sense to me. Maybe that will be J5's final version and we might get Oreo? Who knows, only time can tell. And yeah, my security patch is December 1st 2017.

                            What is the latest security package for your J7 2016 phone? My last one is now on December 1, 2017

                                Good news to everyone. Yesterday i got my j72016 upgraded to android eight oreo version. Its really smooth, great and awesome. I'm loving it. 👍👍

Custom Roms are always better because the developers of them can put tons of more features on their custom roms, they should be clean without bloatware and/or any pre installed apps. They should also work on most Android devices out there but you'll have to be very careful installing them cause you will have to root your device first. You should always get the latest updates if you get any and they tend to work smooth on most devices!
