One of the best phones from Samsung, I bought in 2016 in Qatar and have been using for years without no issues. Still I recommend this phone to be the legendary work from the developers of the company.

Since 2016 Ive been using it. Now that its 2021 I can still play minecraft in it. Though it would heat up if played for very long.

This buddy has been through a lot. Still is okay, on/off button fell off but it still works great ngl. If yall really need phone to be strong, high quality and fast and cheap, take J7 2016. You wont be disappointed

I use my phone since 2016 and my battery has 73 % health, says the app "AccuBattery". Despite of this "illness" I cannot feel any drawback.

Today I got an update. My phone is carrier free an I live in Europe, so I think I am one of the last, who get this update. My kernel is now "Oct 14 19:04:20 KST 2020", but my securitypatchlevel is still 1. November 2019.

Idk why after the latest update few weeks ago (Security patch maybe? I don't remember exactly) my device keep heating up by itself. Even if i turn on airplane mode, turn off bluetooth, wifi, location, turn on battery saver and keep everything dark (brightness, wallpaper, apply dark theme in many apps) its still happens
I always checked running background apps and keep it "Sleep" with device maintenance but still heating up.
Anybody has the same problem?
The heating source is top left side of the phone. Around the volume buttons
