Idk why after the latest update few weeks ago (Security patch maybe? I don't remember exactly) my device keep heating up by itself. Even if i turn on airplane mode, turn off bluetooth, wifi, location, turn on battery saver and keep everything dark (brightness, wallpaper, apply dark theme in many apps) its still happens
I always checked running background apps and keep it "Sleep" with device maintenance but still heating up.
Anybody has the same problem?
The heating source is top left side of the phone. Around the volume buttons

Bought this phone in June 2016 and still using it now. Amazing how durable this phone is. 2020 is about to end and still working perfectly. Android oreo version.

I can definitely say that this phone is great. I bought this phone in 2016 November and it's still working perfect. I used this phone for 2 years and in 2018 I gave it to my mother because i got a new phone. What amazed me is that phone's battery still working very good, its been 4 years with the same battery, it hasnt been replaced since buying, although i thought that it may be need to change battery after few years of use.

LineageOS 17.1 (clone of Android 10) is available for J7-2015 as an official release:

This means that J7-2015 will get updates regularly.
I hope J7-2016 will be the next phone!

U used this phone for 2 and half years then gave it to my grandma. I dont experience any major problem considering my son throw it multiple times. Performance is good as well. The only issue for me is the storage 16GB anyway it serves its purpose and my grandma still enjoying the phone.

I bought this phone in Israel in 2018 and after 5 months it switched of it self, from that time I feared to buy a phone with Samsung brand. I can't suggest a friend to by like that version of galaxy j 7 (2016).
