i have this phone for a few years now. i am planning to upgrade my phone rn to a new midrange one which is on its way now(xiaomi redmi note 9s lol). my samsung galaxy j7 have no case or screen protector whatsoever, having been removed it, not really bothered to buy any. i have dropped this phone from high up my bunk bed (i cried before lmao) and this resulted to an ugly crack, which you can't feel physically but it is visually there, from the top part spreading its ugliness to the bottom. i still haven't learned my lesson and had accidentally let go of my phone which made the crack more visible and always restarting. i just actually let go of it once again just nOW and i nearly cried thinking it wasn't gonna power up but it did :DDDD battery is still great, the display manageable, all in all, i will remember this phone.

I've had this phone since November 2016, we are now in 2020 and it works perfectly even after so long, the camera is amazing, i literally run a photography account with this phone🌹

Older versions of phones like J7 2016 are working great and it has removable battery which is for me better than unremovable. I still think that Samsung shouldn't end J series. For a lot of people it is fair price and quality. They focus on A and S series except J . But I agree this phone is great. Still works great. Battery is about 1-2 days and speed while doing tasks is more than satisfying.

well the j7 series was a really popular series that samsung sold (although a bit overpriced) but samsung really knows how to make these popular and i think many students asked their parents to buy this because if you go to school you can find so many people using a j7 in 2015-2016 era

2020 still doing good, my dad bought this phone way back 2016 and yeah its really good and amazing in that time maybe the most neutral phone in mid-range category been rotating to my dad mom and me for 4 years and now I got it again us it as secondary phone and yeah doing its job youtube, social media and some light casual games, for 4 years it really been good phone for us until now still doing good just need to replace the 4 years old battery to last longer heheh

I was using this phone from 2016 to 2018, I sold it then and got A9 2018. I'm still using that one, and just recently I got two broken J7 2016 for free. They only need LCD change and they will be good to go. It is a cheap fix, and I'm interested to see how will they perform today.
