My j7 2016 has become piece of crap now.can u believe that it takes 8- 10 hours to charge completly.
Gallery transition is so bad.pics tremor while opening

after update
beautiful ui ,never had problem with charging the phone, from 5 to 100 is around 2 1/2 hour. no lag so far. mine is GN version never got that 33mb update so i guess GN version is good with Nougat, batter drain is bit higher than MM but its not noticeable. i play game a lot so i can say its better to go with nougat.

And btw many pe... moreGo to device maintenance select storage select internal storage in that you can find others folder and I think you missed something after N update in advanced features under settings had just few options after 33.88MB update I found new features added like direct share , dual messenger and easy mute !!

I haven't had any of those issues you mentioned. the only difference I've noticed on mine is the battery. my phone lasted a few hours longer on the marshmallow. other than that everything is working smoothly.

You a... moreActually Nougat update, at least on j7 2016, is half baked.. has many bugs like black screen, battery drain, lagging, slow response.... etc. I have updated mydivice on the first day, did a reset, keep in idle for 24 hrs ...but nothig happend, no improvements. In between received another 33.89 mb again reset idle, no changes. So I decided to downgrade, now my phone works perfect without any issues.

I need to ask, what's going on with all of you here.
You all are bragging because you didn't get the nougat update,be happy that you have MM at least.
Then the battery drain issue which never occurred at me after the nougat update(Well a bit but when using 4G only, and not that much).I don't know how always bad stuff happen at you.The device i have right now works fine without issues.Afterall you choose from where you will get this device.The shop i choosed was great in selling Samsung devices and mine had and has no issues.Please get your facts straight before posting because not everyone has the issues you do.Also stop telling people not to upgrade to nougat when nougat has improved my device a lot.And lastly stop spamming with all the same issues going on.Just tell Samsung about it and they might look further onto fixing it.Posting here hundreds of times about the same issue will do nothing,just scare people out.

Here's how to fix it:
Use the original charger that comes out of the box with ur device or get a short cable charger and test it if it works.

Battery draining is fast comparing to Samsung j7 2015 which runs on M and 3000mah and after N update battery charging is also slow comparing to M !!

Samsung 's 33MB update has added some new things in advanced features settings apart from that can't find any improvement on battery back up , others folder has 370MB of files in internal storage , HOPE Samsung pushes another update soon !!

i have purchased a galaxy j 7 at 2016.but its life ends up to one year .it was purchased from gulf. to repair service center demand rs 8000/- here at kerala.the reason for death of mobile was its mother board damaged with in one year.
