Garbage!! a total garbage. Camera is the worst of its competitors. playing games? forget it!! phone gets stuck for half a second all the time (if you play game you need a reliable phone), touchscreen fails to respond your touch, quite often. Listen, if you have this money to buy a phone, dont get the samsung j7 2017. there are much better phones out there. my wife has got the Huawei p10 and its a way better than this samsung. Well, if you still feel like buying it, let us know your thought in here so people can take them into consideration. Cheers, folks. Fabricio

rubbish phone.... absolutely obnoxious. software updates are forced without user consent.
option to check for update manually is disregarded.
option to postpone installation indefinitely is disregarded.
samsung = dictatorship. losers !! i root
And GSM Arena text sumbit form DISREGARDED (lost) my letter capitalization for no good reason.

J7 Prime has a TFT screen, and is simply worse in every way. You can get it in 32gb, that's the only benefit of the Prime. J7 2016 has less RAM, and is also worse in every way. The 720p screen could be a benefit, because it has the same SoC as this year's J7. If you can spend that extra on the J7 2017, do it.

16 GB, really? And I do understand that there is an external memory expansion, but for me nothing can replace internal memory and I need at least 64 GB from it.

steven, 11 Nov 2017does this phone have eis? and if it does then how good is it?J7 2017 has EIS in spec but this IS is so bad or it simply doesnt work so it makes the videos unwatchable. Im comming from A5 2016 whith OIS working very good and this is the reason i did not buy an A5 2017 which also has the same bad EIS

It was onto a hardwood floor, so not onto pavement or anything like that, but it was enough to make me cringe. The phone is perfectly fine, and it is not in a highly protective case.

AnonD-708870, 22 Oct 2017Is it possible to move apps to sd card? It depends on the app. I have moved several of mine to the SD card, but not all. Probably about 2/3 of the apps that I tried to move would move. You just go into the app manager and then into the app and then under storage. If it gives you a "Change" button, you can move it to the SD card.

Sexy body it looks like S7 edge because that the screen is curved due to 2.5D glass with the matching thin bezel
