If you look here on Samsung's official security update site you can see our J7 Neo is still eligible for security updates so even if we don't get Pie we will be getting Security updates for a few months.

I love this phone, got it for my 15th birthday on 12 September 2018 and since I have had absolutely no issues. The battery life is class-leading, I get 14-15 hours of screen-on-time. Brilliant. The phone heats up slightly during use but it doesn't bug me, it's probably goes to 35 Degrees Celsius max.
