ZH7, 12 Apr 2017Samsung galaxy j7 prime is the bestIs it really all that good. I'm really thinking about getting the Prime. But where did you get it from. Did you get it from Amazon. I haven't found a U.S version on Amazon yet. But still, was it worth it?

Honest j7 review after using one month
Display- Display quality is good . Colours look accurate and good while watching 1080p video, pic .good viewing angles and sunlight visibility is quite good especially when you choose outdoor mode option but If you're going to compare its display with any SAMOLED display then you maybe quite disappointed because it's colours look not that punchy as SAMOLED display but again in day to use j7 prime display look quite good and nice so in my opinion display is not a issue.
Camera- let's talk about it's main camera, 13mp main camera take quite good pic in daylight condtion pic look sharp and detailed but it take a little bit time to auto focus so sometime you need to tape to focus. HDR mode work really well. pic came out with HDR mode really look natural with the original source . In the indoor lighting or artificial lighting conditions pic came out quite good but not that sharp as came out in outdoor lighting conditions. Low lighting camera performance is also good but not that sharp sometime I found some noise in pictures.
now talk about 8mp front camera. It's front camera is doing it's job pretty well in the daylight condtion but in the indoor lighting, artificial light condtion pic came out just good colours look good but not that sharp as compare to daylight pic and again I found some noise in the low light condtion.
performance- well it's powered by exeynos 7870 soc with couple of 3gd ddr3 ram. In term of raw performance it's work really well. Everything you throw it just work flawlessly. Apps load quickly and good thing is that even you open multiple app simultaneously there's always upto1.4 gb to 1.2 gb ram space free and i believe Samsung did quite good job in term of software optimization. When we talk about in term of gaming performance here something in appropriate occur. I was tried asphalt 8 airborne and I found game Run quite well but I found lag a bit in the asphalt 8 game menu every time whenever i completing a race and then when i go back to your previous game menu in that time it's lag a bit just for a sec. otherwise it's run asphalt 8 just pretty well. I was also tried some small game like coc, cr etc these game run just perfectly fine. But here is one issue I always found it's have some some heating issue while gaming. it's heat up a bit while you gaming more than 20min but it does not heat up like like other devices you may just feel some warm a bit under the camera portion but again it's cool down within 2/3min. So heat is not a issue you may just feel warm a bit only when you playing some online game like coc , cr etc.
Bettery,sound,network,call quality - Bettery life is just nice. It can last easily one day in a single charge . It take almost 2hrs 10min to full charge from 20 % to 100%. It's screen on time is 6hrs when you set your device to maximum brightness (not the outdoor mode) and incase of online gaming like coc ,cr then it can give up to 5 hrs screen on time even you set your device brightness to maximum level. If you set your device brightness to medium level then it can easily give up to 7-8 hrs screen on time. SO j7 prime bettery life is quite awesome.
sound quality of this device is just awesome, I believe it's one of the best sound speaker I found in a Samsung device. Sound level is loud enough to hear in a room and I also find slight bass from the speaker.
NetWork and call quality is just awesome I did not find any issue in call and network quality. Downloading speed is good and there's no issue in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth tooth.
so my final verdict is it's just a decent device from a well-known reputat brand along with good after sale service.

It is confirmed that J7 Prime is coming with a 32 GB ROM in few days in few sites in India. Honestly saying I think J7 Prime is a excellent complete package. It does everything better which it says. But I think 16 GB ROM is not enough if you want to install one or two big games on it. But now the 32 GB ROM has solved this issue. So if you want to play or carry a lot of data than it is an excellent device.

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2017I brought it an hour back...I dint even use it I HV just ke... moreIt is very normal to heat up during update or upgrade. It happens in all my devices including On7 Problem, A5 (2016) and J7 Prime. Also happened in last year's Lumia 535/540. Don't worry. Just wait to complete the process. Regards.

my brother brought me from dubai its wonderfull device no heating issue, no performance issue, very good camera, amazing battery i recommend you this phone in this budget

Guys I was informed that Galaxy J7 prime after using an app for a while ( about 20 mins) during multitasking, app randomly stops with a pop-up. Is this a very common issue?
