this phone is very good for a daily use.
after 8.1.0 update battery performance slightly improved.
only bad thing is recently i needed to use a app for work but app did not started cuz it needed gyro. not a serious issue but i wish it had gyro.

Guys, i am confused which phone to buy.
I am getting a really good deal on j7 prime (3/32gb) but it doesn't have gyro, not that i use it very often but still i feel it's absence would be noticeable. Yet i like the handset if i ignore this fact.
On the other hand i am getting Redmi note 4 (4/64gb) at even lower then j7 prime, which has bigger memory, battery and gyro support.
brand vs specs, which to buy?

This phone is essentially what every phone should be! I've been using it since 2016 and now, 2018, I'm still rocking it. The battery is still fine, never had a problem with this device! After 2 years, 3300 Mah battery still charges a little over 2 hours. I love this phone! Not planning to change phones yet. May for the next two to three years. This is how great this phone is.

I just noticed today my j7 prime oreo takes too long to charge... it was at 20% so i put it to charge at 5.30 and at 8.30 it was still 75%...what to do plz help

My J7 Prime also has WHITE spot near top right corner. Maybe light bleed?

i have J7 prime 32 GB model SM-G610F with baseband version G610FXXU1API4. my device in not up gradable to 7.0. i tried many time but no success.

TechGuy, 19 Nov 2018Battery Problem? hi... i have mine... the battery last pretty good. I have disabled all the useless bloatware... and mine last about 16 hours - 20 hours. with wifi and browsing. I have not used it for games hat much. my husband's last aroun 12-14 hours. he plays, mobile legends and all other games.
