Otherwise I do not have to think about it. It last more than my On 7 Prime and papa's A5 (2016). But I use it mainly for calls, messages, emails and social media. No gaming yet, but little media like playing songs or watching videos. Overall I am happy with the battery life. Also please remember I am using a true 4G SIM with VoLTE.
As you have said your battery is draining fast. Than please check the "Battery Usage", may be some apps are running in background. And please do not use mobile data and wifi at same time. they will eat up your battery. Last thing is get updates for your device regularly. It improves the device.

nikku, 16 Jan 2017guys need your help. my j7 prime not showing auto brighness... moreJ7 prime does not have ambient light sensor thus auto brightness is not an option for you.. every time you have to adjust brightness manually.

Samsung is not giving compass sensor in mid range phones, that's pretty aweful... on your navigation map your pointer wont point to the direction you are moving!

I am using j7 prime since a couple of week.it's a superb phone.pros.Battery,Display,Exynos 14nm power efficient Processor,2.5D curved gorilla glass etc.I love samsung.

As I know, no any chinese vendor provide best service for ur smartphone..
No doubt V5 has good camera.. But it sucks in hardware ..Old Mediatek processed used by it which allows only 720p display ..WTF ..??

I'm fully satisfied with my new J7 Prime ! It worth my money ! Its a very good midrange from a well known brand SAMSUNG ! 😀
U can go with other chinese brands if u doesnt want reliable service and updates ! If u enjoy Samsung's unique features like Knox, S bike mode , extend battery life , secure folder ,etc ..then u must go for it ..!

Anonymous, 15 Jan 2017I didnt understand what do you mean by not brightness sensor? I mean "Auto brightness". You have to manually control the brightness on it. Sorry for the mistake.
